App Development & Design
The JuLei Goodies App digitizes a formerly analog reward system for youth leaders – turning a printed booklet into a smart, flexible and technically solid app. Developed for the Stadtjugendpflege Bramsche, the app allows young people engaged in volunteer work to easily and securely redeem regional rewards – directly via smartphone.
A project that makes a difference in society – and has been implemented technically in such a way that it can be supported in the long term and grow along with it.
What can the app do?
The JuLei Goodies App makes it simple for youth leaders to redeem their benefits – anytime, anywhere. With a personal account, they can log in, browse available goodies in their region, and redeem them directly at participating locations.
The app takes care of everything behind the scenes: it records redeemed goodies, ensures each one can only be used once per year, and resets all entries automatically at the start of a new year.
There's also a news section that allows important updates, events, or announcements to be shared quickly and directly. Everything in one place, always within reach – making the app a daily companion in volunteer work.
Features that truly add value
Beyond redeeming goodies, the app includes a central news section that delivers updates directly to youth leaders – all managed via the CMS.
There's also a separate announcement module for urgent messages that appear prominently in the app. And: backend statistics track how and when goodies are used, making the system transparent and measurable.
Independent content updates, no support needed
All app content – from new goodies to user accounts – is managed via the Kirby CMS. A custom-built plugin connects it directly to Supabase, giving the Stadtjugendpflege Bramsche full control.
That means no app updates are needed when content changes – just quick, intuitive edits in the CMS.

Bold, colorful, clear – and always on their level
The app's interface is based on the vibrant corporate design created by Simone Bei der Sandwisch. Its look is expressive, energetic, and youth-oriented – with a wide palette of bold colors that enhance contrast and usability.
This visual approach isn't just eye-catching – it makes navigation intuitive and the app accessible to its users in everyday situations.
Hybrid Development for iOS and Android
Built with Nuxt.js and Capacitor, the app is available on both iOS and Android from a single codebase. Supabase handles data storage and user verification, managing everything from login to goodie redemption.
A setup that delivers speed, control, and scalability – ideal for public-sector projects with limited resources.
Strengthening volunteer work digitally
What used to be a paper booklet with tear-out cards is now a modern app that says: your work matters.
The JuLei Goodies App doesn't just simplify workflows – it adds meaningful recognition, enables real-time communication, and builds connection. Locally rooted, digitally strong, socially relevant.
