In just six weeks, a new website was created for ekor magazine that perfectly combines design quality, speed, and editorial standards.
A project with a countdown
When the ekor team approached us in mid-January 2022, one thing was clear: time was of the essence. The new issue of the magazine was due to be published on March 1, 2022 – including a new digital presence. A website that would not only be ready on time, but would also do justice to the quality, passion, and visual power of the magazine.
An ambitious schedule, which we mastered with a clear structure, efficient process, and uncompromising quality.
Quality without detours
Despite the tight timeframe, no step was skipped: layout phase, design system, CMS integration – everything was implemented with the usual care. Based on WordPress, a handmade interface with individual CSS and JavaScript elements was created to ensure performance and creative freedom.
The website prominently presents each new issue, integrates an editorial blog area, and offers the complete reading experience via a stylistically adapted PDF viewer. At the same time, the online shop was also redesigned – visually coordinated with the magazine and implemented in the same design line.

Magazine quality for the screen
The design of the new website is based on the magazine's visual language – elegant, generous, and clearly typographic. We developed a customized web design that digitally translates the character of the print edition: ample white space, strong typography, clear grids, and calm animations characterize the appearance.
Each element was precisely designed to give the magazine a stage that reflects its visual quality and editorial depth.

Just six weeks after the project started, the new website went live on schedule – minimally corrected, maximally precise. A success made possible above all by clear communication and perfectly delivered content.
